Hello. My name is Scott and several years ago I tossed away my suits and traded them in for jeans and tees
and returned to my childhood love of exploring nature and all it's treasures. I was blessed to find two solid souls
whose own dream of developing a "nature lover's" resort along beautiful Lake Whitney offered me an opportunity for employment
working outdoors on one of the best playgrounds an older "boy" could hope for. Officially, I am the landscaper
at Cherokee Village Resort but in actuality I have become sort of a "jack of all trades" employee, capable
of tackling most outdoor chores requiring unskilled labor. My home and my "sandbox" are conveniently
located right here and I have developed a fondness for good physical work.
Over the past couple of years, photography has become more than a hobby
for me. It's a passion, the way I capture and celebrate life. Although I have had a few photos published, I am an amateur
but where I go...so does my camera. Through it's lens, a whole new world has opened itself up to me. In this album,
I've posted some recent pics and will add to these over time. Most were taken right here at Cherokee Village Resort
and those that weren't were taken within hiking distance from here. I hope that you will visit a bit and take the time
to peek at the different themes outlined in the pages ahead. Feel free to comment via the email address given should
something in particular strike your fancy. In the future I am planning on offering copies of pictures for a small fee
and even selling fossils or artifacts for those who, like me, feel they are better decorations than wedgewood or porcelain
